3 March 1921: Mrs. Lillie Salome Bross, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Elias Mader and wife of George H. Bross, of Jonestown, passed away at her home on Friday, March 18, at 8 o'clock, as the result of nervous complications. On last Tuesday her condition became serious and she was confined to her bed until the time of her death. Prior to her marriage, Mrs. Bross taught in the public schools of this county, her first term at Fredericksburg. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, of Jonestown, for the past forty years and leaves to survive, her husband, George H. Bross, of Jonestown, one daughter, Mrs. V. D. Mulholland, of Ebensburg; two granddaughters, Vara Belle Mulholland and Eleanor May Mulholland. [Lebanon Daily News]
