Genevieve Feldt, age 85, of Ripon, formerly of Princeton, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at the Fountain View Care Center in Ripon. She was born on August 1, 1923 in Princeton a daughter of Joseph J. and Magdaline (Wozniak) Soda.

Genevieve married Floyd Feldt on June 28, 1942 in Dickeyville. She was employed at PMI in Markesan. She was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Princeton and sang in the choir. Genevieve enjoyed baking and cooking.

She is survived by 7 sisters; Francis Darnick, Angeline Chikowski both of Berlin, Helen Kautzer, Medford, Mary (George) Korleski, Wild Rose, Joanne (Jerry) Szweda, Princeton, Dolores (Phil) Hoopman, Ripon, Sharon (Ken) Przybyl, Poynette; 4 brothers, Victor (Karen) Soda, Princeton, Ernie (Sandy) Soda, Ripon, Donald (Juanita) Soda, Plattsburg, NY, Ray (Joan) Soda, Berlin; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd; 2 brothers, George and Norbert.

A funeral service for Genevieve Feldt will take place on Friday, October 17, at 4:30 pm, with visitation starting at 3 p.m., at Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Princeton with Rev. Sue Bryce officiating. Burial will follow the service at St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Princeton.
