Mr. Cochran had spent most of his life in the Bloomfield Community and was a retired sawmill worker. He was a Veteran of the US Army, serving in Korea and was never married.
Survivors include one brother, Roy Cochran of Advance. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Graveside rites will be held at 10:00a a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008 at Walker Cemetery. Arrangements by Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
