Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Glad Tidings Church. The funeral there will follow at 11 a.m., with the Rev. M. L. Schreffler officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. Alston was born May 21, 1917 in Hector, Arkansas. He owned Moore's Grocery Store for 26 years in 1985. He was a member of Glad Tidings Church since 1977.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Wanda; three daughters: Sandra Alston, of Casa Grande, Mary Borden and Jeanette Alston, both of CA; a son, Billy Alston, of Malvern, AR; sister, Pearl Mulkey, of Florence; three brothers: Earl Alston, of OR, Elmer Alston, of Florence, and Burl Alston, of Phoenix; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
