Elizabeth Sipos Turcsik, 77 of 815 Taber St., died Wednesday, February 22, 1978, at Tompkins County Hospital. She was born September 4, 1900 in Budapest Hungary, daughter of the late John and Mary Chervenak Sipos. She is survived by three sons, Stephen Turcsik and William Turcsik, both of Ithaca; and Michael J. Turcsik of California, seven daughters, Mrs. George (Betty) Norman of Groton, Mrs. Clair (Matilda) Whiting, Mrs. Elmer (Mary) Horton, Mrs. Dorothy Oltz and Mrs. Arnold (Rose) Kannus, all of Ithaca; Mrs. Virgil (Helen) Clark of Brownwood, Texas; and Mrs. Elliott (Isabell) Curtis of Stamfordville, NY. Nieces and nephews, 37 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren also survive. Services will be held at 9:15 a.m. Saturday at the Shea-Tryon Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will be late in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
