Mr. Spurlock died early Wednesday at Monroe Manor Nursing Home after a long illness. He was a native of Chatham.
Survivors include six brothers, George Spurlock of Ruston, Thomas H. Spurlock and Albert E. Spurlock, both of West Monroe, Gordon Spurlock of Bossier City, Riley J. Spurlock of Addis, and Sam H. Spurlock of Bossier City; a sister, Mrs. Ira Kitchens of Albuquerque, N.M.; and several nieces and nephews.
