Albert E. Spurlock, 68, of 901 Oak St., West Monroe died Thursday at his residence following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Kilpatrick's Funeral Home of West Monroe with the Rev. A. B. Hinkle officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Nebo Cemetery near Downsville.
Mr. Spurlock was a lifelong resident of West Monroe and retired employee of a local construction company.
Survivors include his widow, Loni Spurlock of West Monroe; one stepson Charles Calhoun of West Monroe; five brothers, George Spurlock of Ruston, Tom Spurlock of West Monroe, Riley J. Spurlock of Addis and Gordon Spurlock and Sam Spurlock, both of Bossier City; and one sister, Jerolene Kitchens of Albuquerque, N.M.
