Delavan (C) Mrs. Lulu Fox, 84, diedat 10:30 p.m. Sunday in the Tazewell County Nursing Home near Tremont where she had resided since December.
Prior to entering the nursing home Mrs. Fox had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Opal Oglesby, of Delavan, since 1959.
She was born at Detroit, ILL., on Oct 8, 1879, a daughter of Charles and Ellen Emery Sackett. She married Herbert Fox and he died in 1937.
Surviving are one son, George Fox, of Bell Gardens, Cal., five daughters, Mrs. Esther White and Mrs. Ruth Orsbun, both of Spiro, Okla.,; Mrs Stella Gomoll of Pickett, Wis.; Mrs. Ruby Lasey of La Habra, Cal., and Mrs. Oglesby of Delavan; two sisters, Miss Minnie Sackett of Pasadena, Cal., and Mrs. Pearl C. O. Bear of Parmelee, S.D.;15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
