Mr. Silas H. Starr, one of the oldest and best citizens of Newton County, is dead. He died on Tuesday night and was buried Wednesday. He was 79 years of age and was the father of Messrs S.H., T.A., and Augustus Starr, three well-known and highly esteemed young men of our county.
