Horace E. Foil, 46,
Dies At Mt. Pleasant
CONCORD, Sept. 1, - Horace E. Foil, 46, native and prominently known business man of Mt. Pleasant, died there this morning after an extended illness. Funeral will be held Monday at 4 p.m. at St. James Reformed church, Mt. Pleasant, of which he was a lifelong member and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Son of the late. W. D. Foil and Mrs. Martha Fisher Foil, the deceased attended Mt. Pleasant Collegiate institute, served in World War I and successfully operated merchandising firms. He is survived by his wife, the former Elizabeth Caudle, of Wadesboro, three children, Betty Jean, Frances Sue and Horace E. Foil Jr.; three sisters and one brother, Mrs. George Faggart, Savannah, Va.(GA), Mrs. A. R. Tosh, Landis, Mrs. Willis Hahn and Paul Foil, Mt. Pleasant.
