MRS. MARTHA M. FOIL
DIES FROM BAD BURNS
CONCORD, Feb. 4. - Mrs. Martha M. Foil of Mount Pleasant, died at 1:15 o'clock this at a Charlotte hospital from burns which she suffered early Thursday, January 15, when her clothing caught on fire from coal ashes which she was removing from her home. She was 64 years. old.
Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock Thursday morning from Saint James Reformed church in Mount Pleasant and interment will be made in the family plot in the church cemetery. Rev. William Gerhardt will conduct the last rites.

Four Funerals On Their
Hands Yesterday
Concord, Feb. 4. - Local undertakers today held or prepared to hold funeral services for three well-known women and one business man of this county who had died within the past several days.
Included among the women was Mrs. Martha M. Foil, of Mt. Pleasant, who died early this morning from burns she received January 15, when he clothing was ignited from coal ashes. She was seriously burned about the back, arms and lower limbs when she walked to the yard of her home with clothing afire without knowing it.
Mrs. Foil was the wife of W. B. Foil and well known.
