Catherine Ottney is the daughter of Anton "Anthony" Ottney (nee Otteni) and Mary Ann Riedling.

November 13, 1916, Catherine (nee Ottney), wife of the late Lawrence Demert, aged 71 years, mother of Mrs. Frederick Holler, Mrs. Caroline Beavers, Robert, Albert and Lawrence Demert. Funeral from the family residence, Thursday morning at 8:30 o'clock and from SS Peter and Paul's church at 9 o'clock. Friends are invited to attend.
