Sue Prince Butler was born Dec. 8, 1922, and was the cherished daughter of Ruth and John H. Prince. Sue grew up in Fort Worth and was a graduate of Poly High School. She then attended TCU and graduated from Harris School of Nursing. Sue married David W. Butler in 1943 and began her dedicated career as a registered nurse.
Sue and David moved to Granbury in 1974 and enjoyed their active lives of attending church, travel and grandparenting. Sue was a member of First Christian Church of Granbury and was a past president of the Indian Harbor Ladies Club.
Sue was a guiding influence in the Butler family and she left us with wonderful memories. Her steadfast love and care for her husband, children and grandchildren, along with the compassion she gave in her medical profession, was a testament of unselfish giving.
Survivors: Daughter, Sally Bettinger and husband, Chuck, of Aledo; sons, Don Butler and wife, Shelly, of Fort Worth, J.D. Butler and wife, Veronica, of Aledo; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
