Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Salvatore and Mary (Fraso) Miccicke.
Before his police career, he drove for Junior Fire Company, Reading.
He began his police career 38 years ago directing traffic, and then he worked as a patrolman. He worked on canine duty for 18 years, and then became a criminal investigator in the juvenile division, later moving to the turnkey office. He was lastly a downtown patrolman.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Anthony F., Hyde Park; and Michael S., at home.
He was originally one of 18 children. His surviving siblings include two brothers, Salvatore and Joseph, both of Mohnton; and four sisters: Mary Miccicke, Reading; Josephine Saul, Wernersville; Kay Campanello, New Jersey; and Elizabeth Saluk, New Ringgold.
