AUTO WRECK VICTIM DIES
Scott Humbler (sic), Injured Near Bruceville Five Weeks Ago, Died Wednesday

Bruceville, Ind., Dec. 17. Scott Hubert Humbler (sic), aged 17 years, son of Mrs. Walter Balding (sic), died this morning at 2 o'clock at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes. Death was the result of injuries sustained five weeks ago in an automobile wreck south of Bruceville when a car occupied by Humbler (sic) and four other young men collided with the side of the bridge, wrecking the car and seriously hurting the occupants. .... The remains will be taken to Terre Haute where funeral services will be conducted Thursday.

A mother, one sister, one brother and stepfather survive.

The funeral for Scott Humble will be held from the residence of the sister, Mrs. Mary Dailey ... Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m., with continued services at St. Ann's church at 9:00 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
