Son of Ezra Scott and Sadie Humble; born June 27, 1894 in Terre Haute, Ind. Blacksmith. Enlisted in U.S. Regular Army May 29, 1915, Jefferson Barracks, MO. Assigned to Troop D, 15th Cavalary. Sent to Douglas, Ariz. Assigned to Suppy Troop, 17th Cavalary. Died of pneumonia Oct. 26, 1918 Douglas, Ariz.

ERNEST E. HUMBLE
The body of Ernest E. Humble, who died Friday at
Camp Douglas, Ariz., will be brought to the home of his
sister, Ethel Humble, 927 North Second street. Private
Humble was with the United States infantry. He was the son
of the late Scott E. Humble, and is survived by his mother,
Mrs. Sudie Oaesser; two brothers, Raymond and Hubert, and
two sisters, Ethel and Mrs. Cecil Humble Newburn. Burial
will be with military honors.
NOTE= Mother's married name is not clear (it was actually
Oser) and half-sister Cecil's married name was Newhouse not
