Otis Albertson, Ate 86, Dies Suddenly
Otis Albertson, 86 years of age, Evansville, died at 2:45 p.m. Friday at the Albertson homestead farm, a short distance south of Attica, from an apparent heart attack.
Mr. Albertson, who retired from the farm in 1940 and moved to Evansville, make several trips back to the farm each week.
He was born Sept. 21, 1883, a son of Andrew and Christina Jacobson Albertson. On March 26, 1913, he was married in Rockford, Ill., to Jessie Nye.
He was a lifelong member of the Albany Lutheran church.
Surviving are his widow; a son, Wayne, Sr., Attica; a daughter, Mrs. Ben Feffel [sic], Edgerton; four grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the Albany Lutheran church in the Norwegian Settlement. Rev. C. O. Thronson officiated and burial was in the Norwegian Settlement cemetery.
