She was born October 20, 1907, in Thorp to Michael and Edna (Konieczny) Pilarski. She was married to John Navarre on August 26, 1924, at St. Mary's Czestochowa Church. Her husband preceded her in death on October 21, 1983. The couple had lived in Milwaukee for 12 years, returning to farm her family's farm in 1936. Cecelia lived on the farm until 1996 when she moved to Morgan Plaza. She passed away on February 18, 2004, at the Oakbrook Health and Rehabilitation Center in Thorp. She is survived by her daughter, Kathryn; three sons Richard, Al and James; 3 foster sons; 23 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and two great-great-granddaughters.
