On 20 Nov 1905, he wed his neighbor, Elsie Marie THOMSEN. This union produced a daughter, Mary Ellen, on 24 Dec 1905. She d. the following February.

He was selling stamps at the Denver P.O. window when he retired. The Postal Superintendant sent him a letter of thanks for his postal services.
He, concurrently, belonged to the Colo. Nat'l Guard for 20 more years gaining a rank of 2nd Sgt.
His middle name, ABIAL, was misspelled on his original Gov't supplied monument, so I had them correct it by making a new one.
