This and #2.5 are alike and are probably replacements for earlier stones that were destroyed [although stones of this type & timeframe are seen in McIndoes, -ed]. They are rough granite blocks, with lettering on the polished top surface, 12" by 22", rough sides 14" high and common cement base. In 1980 graves #2.5 & #2.6 were being visited regularly; the neighbor & cartaker, Mrs Jacques did not recall the visitors' name, only that it was not "Farwell".
