Johan Ludwig Erickson was born November 9, 1858, at Eidsberg, Norway. On February 19, 1882, he married Kristine Solberg and on the first of April he came with his wife on their wedding trip to Lanesboro where they settled for the time being. A few years later they moved to Fountain where they have since made their home.
Nine children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Erickson -- Martha Awilda, who died August 16, 1906, Mrs. Guy McMorran of Fillmore, Mrs. Gilbert Austin of Thompson, Iowa, Mrs. Elvin Klein, Mrs. Lillie Danielson, Mrs. Henry Hall, Mrs. Fred Boyer and Miss Vesta Erickson of Fountain, and son Einar of Laramie, Wyoming.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Fred Boyer home.
