Mrs. Addie Batey died this morning at the residence of her sister, Mrs. Charles Griesenbeck, 409 Hays street, aged 44 years. Mrs. Batey had been a resident of Texas for the past 32 years and came to San Antonio about a year and a half ago from El Paso for treatment for a cancer. She was the widow of Isaac Batey, a railroad man, who was killed in a wreck near El Paso. Besides her sister, her mother, Mrs. Upson, and a brother, George Upson, both of this city, survive. The funeral will take place tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. Services will be held at the residence, Rev. Arthur G. Jones of the First Presbyterian church officiating, and interment will be in city cemetery No. 3.
