Herman Woodrow Jones Jr., age five years and seven months, passed away suddenly while undergoing a tonsilectomy at the Limestone Hospital on Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m.
Last rites were held at the Market Street Church of Christ by Bro. A. J. Rollings, Spry Funeral Home directed burial in the Athens City Cemetery.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Woodrow Jones Sr., Athens; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Jones, Toney and Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Jones of Chicago, Illinois.
