Funeral services for Herman Woodrow Jones, 77, of Huntsville, will be today at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Charles Littrell officiating and burial in the Athens City Cemetery.
Mr. Jones died Friday at the Donaldson Care Center in Fayetteville, TN. He was born December 4, 1920 in Madison County and was retired from Coca-Cola Bottling Company and was a charter member of the Austin Lions Club and Danville Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Owens Jones, Huntsville; one son, Ronnie Owens Jones, Wilmington, N.C.; three brothers, Bruce Jones, Huntsville, Melvin Jones, Elkwood, and Elmer Jones, Elkmont; six sisters, Mary Broadway, Toney, Betty Lee, Taft, TN, Dorothy Smith, Hazel Green, Katie Goodwin, Huntsville, Annie Wilbanks, Taft, TN, Marjorie Adcock, Ardmore; two grandsons, and several nieces and nephews.
