Rapid City--As James Brodsky was withdrawing a shotgun, muzzle first, from a wagon on which he had been loading corn fodder in a field near Owanka, something caught the trigger, exploding the shell in the gun. The charge entered the young man's abdomen, tearing his body almost in two.
Brodsky was a young man, having just passed his 21st birthday. He lived with his father on a ranch near where the accident happened.
