MRS. SARAH MINNICK DIES AT BROADWAY
Illness of Several Years is Fatal.
Funeral Services Tomorrow at 3 P. M.
Mrs. Sarah Minnick died at her home in Broadway yesterday afternoon
at 3:35.
She had heen in ill health for the past year but it was not until
last spring that her condition became serious. Death was due to complications.
She was the widow of Wallace B. Minnick, who died in 1925.
She was born on January 15, l852. Mrs. Minnick was Miss Sarah K. Dove before her marriage. On March 15, 187?, she married and moved to Broadway where she resided until her death.
She was a member of the Lutheran Church for over 50 years.
Mrs. Minnick's death comes as a shock to the community of Broadway
as she was greatly loved and respected by her friends and neighbors.
In 1918 during the influenzia epidemic she lost a son and daughter on the same day.
Those surviving are four children Walter Minnick, Mrs. Charles Landis, of Spring: City, Penn., Grover L. Minnick, of Connellsville, Penn., Mrs. John Comer, of Piketon, Ohio., one sister, Mrs. James McVeigh, of Newcastle, Ind.. one brother, William Bare, of near Elkton, and one grandchild Chester Litten, who lived with her until her death. Besides Chester there are eighteen other grand children.
The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Broadway Baptist Church.
Services will be conducted by Rev. S.C. Hutten, assisted by Rev. R.W. Miller.
Interment will be in the Linville Creek cemetery near Broadway.
