OBITUARY :
MRS. EMMA S. (SRENKLE) RUTHRAUFF, aged 80 years, widow of A. Welty Ruthrauff, died Tuesday at her home, 122 South Broad street, Waynesboro, after an extended illness due to a heart condition.

Mrs. Ruthrauff had heart trouble for 20 years and had been confined to her home for five years. For the last three weeks, her condition had been critical.

She was born at Roadside, the daughter of George and Sarah (Snowberger) Sprenkle. She lived in Waynesboro and vicinity her entire life.

Mrs. Ruthrauff had been a member of the Methodist Episcopal church since girlhood. Mr. Ruthrauff died in 1934.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. J. H. Kadel, of Gettysburg, and Miss Mabel, at home; two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. G. W. Heefner, Waynesboro; Mrs. C. F. Happel, South Charleston, West Virginia; A. M. Sprenkle, Iron Springs, and C. E. Sprenkle, Chambersburg. Nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services Friday at 2 p. m. at the home in charge of the Rev. W. L. Crowding and the Rev. E. L. Eslinger. Interment in Burns Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the late home from 7 until 9 p. m. Thursday.
