Mrs. Gertrude S.(M.O.), 83, a resident of Brewton Road, died in a local hospital Tuesday morning. She was the widow of M.A. Moore who was a farmer and dairyman in Andalusia. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday from Andalusia First Baptist Church with the Rev, Harrell Cushing officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Foreman Funeral Home of Andalusia directing. The body will lie in state at the funeral home from 2 p.m. Wednesday until service time.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Bessie S. Jernigan, Pigeon Creek(Oakey Streak) and Mrs. Mittie S. Ewing, Montgomery; a number of nieces and nephews.
