Canton, IL - Margaret A. Beadles, 91, of 339 French Court, Canton, passed away at her residence on Sunday, April 23rd, 2006, at 11:15 a.m.
Born in Canton on May 5, 1914, to John and Dorothy (Mitchell) Greene, she married Harold L. Beadles on Oct. 5, 1952, in Canton. He passed away on June 12, 1997.
Also preceding her in death were her parents and one sister, Harriet J. Stone.
Surviving are one son, Mike (Jeannie) Beadles of Canton; two step grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; one nephew; one niece; one great-nephew and two great-nieces.
She worked for the Federal Government (WPA) and the Illinois Department of Public Aid.
She graduated from Canton High and was a 50-year member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ. She was also a member of the Peter Pan Club in Canton.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Canton.
