Bula B. Beamer, of Carroll Valley, fell asleep in Jesus on September 27, 2008, after a battle with cancer.

She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Lucille Duff Beamesderfer.

Bula was known for her happy positive manner, and she enjoyed cooking and gardening for which she will be remembered for her lovely gardens. She was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

Mrs. Beamer is survived by her husband of 57 years, Glenn Beamer and also two daughters, Susan Gray and husband Steve of Chambersburg, and Cindi Ward and husband Jim of Beltsville, MD; a grandson, Jeffrey Gray of Chambersburg; a sister, Patsy Sutter of Florida; four brothers, Bly Beamesderfer of Arkansas, Norman Beamesderfer of New York, Thomas Beamesderfer, Jr. of Pennsylvania, and Gerald Beamesderfer of California; 10 nieces and 10 nephews and a number of cousins.
