Amanda Jane Gray, widow of Turney Gray, Washington Township, died suddenly Sunday at 1 o’clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Raymond Hook, West Kittanning. During the past few months she had suffered an attack of flu but had for the past few days been in good health. She was 76 years and 12 days of age, and is survived by the following children: Mrs. Pearl Pash, Audley Gray and Sarah Lasher of Adrian, Cash Gray of Coalport, and Mildred Hook of West Kittanning. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Mrs. Manassah Lasher, Dickey, Merle Wolfe, Reesedale, Harry and Isaiah Wolfe, of Adrian. 35 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren also survive.
