Mrs. Pearl Lash, 77, wife of Ralph Lash of Adrian RD 1, died at 8:25 p.m. Tuesday (Feb. 24, 1959) in Armstrong County Memortal Hospital. She was a daughter of Turney and Amanda Wolfe Gray, born July 6, 1881, and was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church Adrian. Besides her husband she is survived by the following children; Mrs. Gladys Leard of Knox RD 2, Paul Skinner of Templeton William Skinner of Adrian, Mrs. Maxine Frick of Cowansville, Mrs. Ivy Lemmon of Kittanning RD 3, Mrs. June Smith of Butler, Mrs. Ethel Lasher, Russell Lash, Reynolds Lash, Mrs. Betty Johnston and Lewis Lash, all of Adrian RD 1. She also leaves a stepdaughter, Mrs. Mildred Tanner of Montebello Calf.; two brothers, Audley Gray of Adrian RD 1 and Cash Gray of Flinton; two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Lasher of Adrian and Mrs. Mildred Highfield of Vandergrift; 58 grand-children and 51 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received after 7 tonight at the Snyder funeral home in Cowansville. Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Friday in St. Mark's Lutheran Church, with her pastor, the Rev. James, Slingluff, in charge. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Pearl Lash Funeral

Services were held Friday afternoon in St. Mark's Lutheran Church for Mrs. Pearl Lash of Adrian RD 1, who died Feb. 24, 1959, in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. Three hymns, "Abide with Me." Rock of Ages" and "Softly and Tenderly," were sung by Mrs. Harry Brumbaugh. Roy Lash was the organ accompanist.The services were conducted by the Rev. James B. Slingluff, church pastor. As burial was made in the church cemetery, casketbearers, were Robert Lasher, Reynolds M. Lash Jr., Wayne Lash, Russell Lash, Jesse Myers and William Skinner. Arrangements were by Snyder funeral home, Cowansville.
