b. 25 Nov. 1870 on his parents farm located a few miles from Delta, Clay Co., AL.
d. 19 March 1950 Rt. 1 - Leoma, Lawrence Co., TN.
buried: Union Hill Methodist Church Cemetery - Liberty Grove, Lawrence Co., TN.
William's middle name "Clayborn" was after his grandfather Clayborn Sims, born abt. 1812 in Laurens Co., S.C. and died 5 June 1897 on his farm located a few miles from Delta, Clay Co., AL. and is buried in the old Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery in land that was owned by Clayborn Sims (c.1812-1897) and his wife, Susannah (Waldrop) Sims(1820-1867).
They, Clayborn Sims and Susannah Waldrop married 2 July 1835 in Henry Co., GA.

The parents of William Clayborn Sims were Jeremiah P. Sims (1846-1891) and wife, Mary Jane Causey (1850-1921). They married abt. 1869 probably in the old Mt. Olive Baptist Church located a few miles from Delta, Clay Co., AL. on land owned by Jeremiah's parents, Clayborn & Susannah Sims. Note: The early minutes of the old Mt. Olive Baptist Church record Clayborn & Susannah Sims and all of their children as charter members.

wife: Samantha Catherine Cash (1871-c.1903). She died in a house fire at or near Sprice Pine, Franklin Co., AL. I've searched the area, but faield to find a gravestone, so feel her grave is unmarked.
Her parents were George M. Cash and wife Mary E. McBride

husband: Charles Zeltman. All I have on him is that he4 was 1st married to Pauline Holzworth on 18 Aug. 1883 in Cullman Co., AL.
