Ruth E. Hanson, 65, of Lenexa, KS passed away February 15, 2006 at her home. Ruth was born on a farm near Oswego, Kansas and had been a resident of Lenexa, KS since 1943. She worked for the Mission Bank for nearly 50 years.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents Edna and Harlow Hanson. She is survived by brothers, John L., Richard H., Philip H., William L.: sisters, Mary A. DeBolt and L.Jo Hanson; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Monday, February 20, 2006, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 13615 92nd St., Lenexa, KS. Private interment at a later date. Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m., Sunday, February 19, 2006 at McGilley & Hoge Chapel, 8024 Sana Fe Drive, Overland Park, KS, with a rosary at 4:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
