She was dau. of John Buchanan Ott
and Sarah (Owens) Ott.

She married first to Edwin Carl
Treat (b. 1842 in Madison Co., Ark.
and d. 18 November 1863 in Mulberry,
Franklin Co., Arkansas). They
married about 1861 or 1862 and had
two children - a set of twins that
were born about 1864 - Edwin Chas.
and an infant son that was stillborn.

She married Samuel Reece in 1866 in
Marion Co., Arkansas. They were
the parents of fourteen children.

Her headstone has a death date of
17 January 1920. However, she is
listed on the 1920 census with her
son Charles Hugh Reece and his
family. The census is dated
24 January 1920. Her death date
would be after that.

Mrs. Reece, widow of the late Sam Reece, died at her home near Zack, Saturday, January 17, 1920. The remains were brought to Marshall and interment took place in the cemetery here Sunday.
