POCOLA — Anna Grace Cowan, 81, of Pocola, Okla. died Friday, April 2, 1999, in her home. She was retired from Hutcheson Shoe Company, the widow of T. Cowan, and a member of the Church of God (Seventh Day) of Fort Smith.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday in Church of God (Seventh Day) of Fort Smith with burial at Greenhill Cemetery in Cameron, Okla. under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.

She is survived by eight daughters, Dee Baker of Pocola, Jo Williams of Lawrence, Mass., T. Ann Jackson of Vian, Rose Peterson of Joplin, Mo., Jessie Springer, Barbara Harris, and Marjorie Harrald, all of Pocola of Pocola, and Linnie Binyon of Charleston; three stepdaughters, Sue Boothe of Odessa, Texas, Anna Faye Walton of Snyder, Texas, and Billie Joe Freeman of Lubbock, Texas; three sons, Bill Baker of Clyde, Texas, Carl Cowan of Arkoma, and Robert Cowan of Claremore, Okla.; one stepson, Don Cowan of San Benito, Texas; two sisters, Nina Armstrong of Uba City, Calif., and Laverne Zema of Tucson, Ariz.; three brothers, George Boyd of Vermont, J.R. Boyd of California, and Reece Boyd of Uba City, Calif.; 28 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
