Herrin Rites Held
Mrs.Mary Ann Herrin,88 years old,widow of the late Shep Herrin,died after a brief illness at the home of her son,A.H.Herrin,near Columbia
She had been a member of the Baptist Church for 75 years.
Funeral rites were held Saturday at home of her son,followed by interment in Rocky Branch Church cemetery,the Rev.M.Walters of Laurel
officiating.
Surviving are a son.A.H.Herrin;two sisters,Mrs.Sarah Bond,Purvis.
and Mrs.Jane Hammond,Hattiesburg;three brothers,James Jodie,and John Patterson of Rocky Branch,15 grandchildren and 27 great granchildren
