Isaac Carll Ketcham was the son of Nathaniel Ketcham and Charity Carll, husband of Hannah Wicks whom he married about 1780 in Huntington, NY, and was the father of Alexander (married Freelove Whitman), Bathsheba (married James Townsend), Jesse (married Eliza A.), John Wicks, Eliphalet (married Sarah, married Hester Foster), Hannah Ette, and Sarah Ketcham (married Oliver Snedecor).

He was a Lieutenant with the Huntington Militia during the Revolutionary War, serving under Col. Josiah Smith, 1st Regiment, Suffolk County Minute Men.

Will - In the name of God, Amen I, Isaac Carll Ketcham of Huntington, Suffolk County and State of New York being weak in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory Considering the uncertainty of this mortal life, and knowing that it is appointed unto all men once to die do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following, that is to say; First, I will, order, and direct that all my just debts and funeral charges be paid by my Executor hereinafter named, as soon as convenient after my decease. I give and devise unto my two daughters, Sarah Snedecor and Bathsheba Ketcham all my household furniture to be equally divided between and in case of the death of either of them, the whole to be given to the surviving sister. I give and bequeath unto my son Alexander Ketcham the sum of ten dollars, also all my farming utensils. I give and devise unto my sons Alexander Ketcham, Jesse Ketcham and Eliphalet Ketcham all my wearing apparel to be divided equally among them and in case of the death of either of them his share to be equally divided between the two remaining Brothers, above named, and in case of the death of either of them, the whole to go to the surviving Brother. I will, order and direct that that all my rights in the bating place purchase, and all my meadow on Cedar Island be sold by my Executor at their discretion; one third part of the amount arising from the sale thereof to be equally divided between my Daughters, Sarah Snedecor and Bathsheba Ketcham and two thirds parts thereof to be equally divided among my Sons, Alexander Ketcham, Jesse Ketcham, and Eliphalet Ketcham and in case of the death of either of them, the share or shares of the deceased to be divided among the surviving Brothers and Sisters, according to these proportions as specified above, And lastly, I hereby nominate and appoint my friends Israel Carll, Abel Ketcham, and David Ketcham Executors of this my last will and testament authorizing them to Execute the same in every part thereof, In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the Sixteenth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eight. Signed, sealed, published and declared by the above named Isaac Carll Ketcham to be his last will and testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses in the presence of the testator.
