Albert Bowersock, 75, of 527 Jefferson Street, Newell, West Virginia, retired percentage Brotherhood of Operative Potters, died Thursday at 4:15 p.m. at East Liverpool City Hospital at 4:15 p.m. where he had been a patient eight weeks.

Mr. Bowersock was born in Washington County, Ohio June 8, 1893, a son of the late Albert Bowerosck and Lavina Pierce Bowersock. He had reisded in the East Liverpool Area for 70 years. He was a saggermarker at the New Castle Refractor Company in Newell for 21 years. He was a member of the IBOP and retired in 1961 as a percentage collector. He belonged to the First Baptist Church and the East Liverpool Senior Citizens Club.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Loa Johns Bowersock, at home; two daughters, Miss Margaret Jane Bowersock of Massillon and Mrs. Mary Helen Michaels of Chester; two brothers, Brady Bowersock of East Liverpool and C.E. Bowersock of Lisbon and two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Gorrell of Sisterville West Virginia and Mrs. John (Grace) Hoff of East Liverpool.

Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Martin Funeral Home by the Rev. William Mautz of East Liverpool. Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
