Bauman rites set Saturday

Mrs. Goldie May Bauman, 62, route 1, Monroe died at 4:10 p.m. Wednesday at the Fort Wayne Lutheran hospital, where she had been hospitalized three weeks.

She was born in Monroe township on August 21, 1912, in Monroe township, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Biberstine, and was married on March 5, 1930, to Albert C. Bauman, who survives.

Also surviving are four sons, Carl D. of Decatur; Larry E., at home; James A. of Richmond; Steve A., at home; three sisters, Mrs. Cleo (Clara) Hartman of Berne; Mrs. Sadie Strahm of Berne; Mrs. Martha Garrison of Bluffton; two brothers, David Biberstine of near Muncie and Chris Biberstine of R.R. Berne; and 12 grandchildren. One daughter, Elizabeth, five sisters and three brothers preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Winteregg-Linn and haggard funeral home, with Rev. Richard Kirk officiating. Burial will be in the Decatur cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday.
