Arthur R. Mosgrove, 72, a Dayton carpenter, died Aug. 20, 1976, at McMinnville Hospital.
He was born Dec. 7, 1903, in York County, Neb., the son of Jasper and Florence Reynolds Mosgrove. He grew up and farmed in Litchfield, Neb. On Oct. 6, 1926, he married Mae Kramer. They lived in Dayton for 30 years.
Mr. Mosgrove was a member of Dayton Christian Church where served as a deacon, twice past master of Jacob Meyer Lodge 108 A.F. & A.M. and an honorary member of the Dayton Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife Mae Mosgrove, Dayton; sons, Robert Mosgrove, Dayton, and Floyd Mosgrove and Royce Mosgrove, Salem; sisters, Blanche Carter, Hemet, Calif., and Louise Olsen, Ponca, Neb.; and eight grandchildren.
Services were Aug. 23 at the Chapel of Macy & Son with interment at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Gerald Carter officiated.
