Mrs George W Evans
Alcinda, wife of George W Evans, died at her home two miles north of Stillwater, Saturday, Jan 23, 1915 , aged 75 years and 28 days. Mrs Evans had been an invalid for ten years. She had raised a large family of children, six of whom were with her when she died.
The body was taken Monday, to her old home near Orlando, where funeral services were held at Lawn View church. Interment was made in the Lawn View cemetery. Beside the husband three sons, Luther and Fred of Hagerman, NM Howard of Denver Co, and four daughters, Mrs Sylvia Skaggs of Denver, Co, Mrs Winnie Tubbs , Mannville, Wyo, Miss Myrtle Evans of Mannville, Wyo, and Mrs Isabel Hoeffer of Stillwater, eighteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild survive.
