My grand aunt Ida is the daughter of Thomas Jefferson Randal and Martha Mabray. Ida married Thomas Lee Winston on 18 Dec 1894 in Morgan, Bosque Co, TX. In the Randal family of eleven children, she was one of eight girls and three boys.

Passes Away

Mrs. Ida R. Winston, 75, of 229 Windomere, a resident of Dallas for fifty years, died in a Dallas hospital Wednesday.

She was born in Bosque County. For the last thirty years she had been a member of the Christian Science Church.

Surviving are her son, Randal L. Winston, Dallas; a daughter, Mrs. Oran Rountree, Dallas; three sisters, Mrs. Annie Standefer, Waco, Mrs. Vera Price, Los Angeles, Calif.; Miss Mary Randal, Dallas; a brother, Mr. Oscar D. Randal, Amarillo; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Tyler Street Methodist Church at 3 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Homer Vanderpool officiating. Burial will be in Oak Cliff Cemetery.
