Ron was born April 22, 1931 in American Fork, Utah to Erick LeRoy (Roy) & Emma Love(Culmer) Clements. He graduated from American Fork High School in 1949 and married Margaret Ann Jones. They had two sons, Ronald LeRoy and Jay Arthur. They later divorced. Ron & Juanita Pace had a son, LaMar. Ron later married Joyce Edith Colton and a daughter, Tamyra Jolene was born. This marriage also ended in divorce. On June 20, 1964, he married Viola Lucille Wahl and they had two sons, Brian Dean & Marvin LeRoy. Ron worked many truck driving jobs in his career and he and his wife owned Clements Bike Shop in Juniata, Nebraska since 1970. Unfortunately, there is no official count of the number of bicycles that he had his hands on, but over the course of 38 years, it certainly numbers in the thousands. First-time customers quickly became good friends, and the spirit of Ron's business was based upon word-of-mouth reputation. Another project taken on by Ron, was establishing scholarships at area high schools. He donated a bicycle for each school, kick-starting a program to benefit their students. He even presented a Huskers bicycle to Tom Osborne himself.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, George Pace; sisters, Opal Sabey & Sue Clements and a brother Murdin Clements. He is survived by his wife and children.
