Margaret Smith Anderson age 89 died Sunday September 7, 2008 in Huntsville, AL. Graveside services will be held At 3:00 pm Tuesday at Baldwin Memorial Gardens. Dr. Jay Hodges will officiate. Mrs. Anderson was born in Hancock County but made her home in Milledgeville. She worked with the Baldwin County Tag Office for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles Dalton and Alice Rayburn Smith and her husband Frank Anderson. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the church choir. Survivors include her son Ronald F. Anderson (Cathy) of Greensboro, her daughter Melba A. McNabb (Mike) of Huntsville, AL, two grandchildren Colleen Samples (Michael) of Huntsville, AL and Andrew McNabb (Lisa) of Madison, AL, and her great grandson Luke Samples. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Milledgeville, Hospice Family Care 3304 Westmill Dr. Hunstville, AL 35805 or to your local hospice. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:30 until 2:30 pm at Moores Funeral Home.
