DAM/ SUN PRAIRIE - Maxima B. (Duckert) Burke, age 98, died Wednesday, July 20, 2005, in Beaver Dam. She was born Oct. 20, 1906, in Cavour, S.D., the daughter of William and Catherine (Murphy) Coffey. She had been a long time member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and St. Patrick's Altar Society and a past member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church. Survivors include two daughters, Sheila (Tom) Weymier of Mayville, and Eileen (Bill) Dean of Sun Prairie; a son, Gregory (Nadine) Duckert of Stoughton; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Carol Coffey of Watertown. She was preceded in death by two husbands; four brothers; and three sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2005, at ST. PATRICK'S CATHOLIC CHURCH in Cottage Grove. Monsignor Raymond Kertz will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.
