Ashley Slesarik, 19, of Sextonville died Friday, September 5, 2008 at the UW Hospital in Madison. She was born December 8, 1988 in St. Joseph, Missouri the daughter of Daniel and Kate (Elman) Slesarik.
Ashley attended Ithaca Schools. She enjoyed photography, music, writing, blogging on the internet, and spending time with her friends.
Ashley is survived by her parents, Daniel and Kate Slesarik of Sextonville, sister Michaila Slesarik of Sextonville, grandparents, Joseph and Marsha Slesarik of Sextonville, Irwin and Margaret Elman of Eau Claire, great-grandmother Margaret Hamilton of Eau Claire, great-uncle David (Theresa) Hamilton of South Lake Tahoe, CA, best friend, Holly and baby Natalie Persinger of Richland Center, good friends, Zachary Miller of Rockbridge, Jim of Richland Center, Chris Samsa of Chicago, Troy Reichbnburger of Milwaukee, the bands, Plunkett and I voted 4 Kodos, many aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.
Ashley was preceded in death by her great-grandfather David Hamilton and cousin Wyatt Goodall.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Pratt Memorial Chapel. Pastor Craig Peach officiated. Burial was held in the Richland Center Cemetery. Friends called at the Pratt Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 from 9:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM. The Pratt Funeral Service assisted the family with their arrangements.
