OBITUARY.

Lorenzo Dow McGray, an aged and much respected citizen of Unity, died at his home Wednesday, Aug. 19th, at the advanced age of 95 years. He was the oldest person in the town. He was the son of Rev. William McGray of Unity. Two of his immediate family survive him, a brother, Chase McGray, living in the town of Bradford, and a sister, Mrs. Witherly, whose home is in Bangor. He was married to Miss Lorana Rackliffe of Unity in 1835 and they lived for a few years on a farm in Waldo, but moved on to the farm where he died 65 years ago. She has been dead 18 years. Two sons and three daughters are left of the family. His home was with D. R. McGray, the younger son. Mr. McGray was converted and became a member of the Christian church in early manhood. For about five years he had not been himself, old age having dethroned his reason and was a great care to the son and his wife with whom he lived, but they were faithful in their attendance upon him and every necessary care was given him.
