Married 15 Mar 1924 Myrtle Irene Housden. Sons, Elwood & Richard Alger both of Stanley & Woodrow Alger of Mt. Crawford. Daughters, Dorothy Gray of Stanley, Rachel Louderback, Jane Nichols & Evelyn Harvey all of Luray & Marie Comer of Shenandoah. Brothers, Cletus W. Alger of Monaca, Pa. & Hugh Alger of Hagerstown, Md. 24 grandchildren & 26 great grandchildren. Burial in the Alger family cemetery. (PNC)
