Jimmy B. "Jim" Rouse, 56, 102 Loveless Drive, Gulfport, died Wednesday in Gulfport. The funeral will be held today at noon at Riemann Memorial Funeral Home, U.S. 49, North, followed by burial in Biloxi National Cemetery. Mr. Rouge was a native of Lucedale, and at the time of his death was a real estate appraiser and co-owner of Rutland-Rouse Real Estate in Gulfport. He was a former vice president of Hancock Bank and was formerly active in, and was an instructor for, the American Institute of Banking on the Coast. He was a former president of the Gulfport Civitan Club and was a former district secretary. He was a former president of the Gulfport Harrison County Chapter of Retarded Citizens, and was a former coach and teacher in Wiggins from 1950-52. Mr. Rouse was a member of First Baptist Church in Gulfport, and was formerly president of the Singing River Bank in Moss Point. He served in the Army during Korea. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hilda Jo Johnson Rouse; two sons, Keith Rouse and Kenneth Rouse, all of Gulfport; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Rouse of Lucedale; three brothers, N.D. Rouse of Vancleave, McKarren [sic] Rouse of Pensacola, Fla., and Hillrie Rouse of Gulfport; and a sister, Mrs. J.L. (Janie) Hodges of Pensacola.
